Ok early last week i called them up to make an appointment for the trunk show on this saturday (4/18). they told me I couldn't try on dresses but could attend the trunk show and they would give me a ticket so that if I come in again to purchase a dress, I'll get a discount since I attended the trunk show.
First, they didnt have ANY saturday appointments left until May 9th. then she told me she needed a credit card # b/c if you cancel within 24 hours, they charge you $50. Is it just me or is this crazy??
Has anyone attended their trunk shows? Can you still look through the books to see what is available? Basically I already found a dress I love by San Patrick and I just want to see what Pronovias has (aside from what I can view online)
Oh, and my last question is.. the flagship store only carries Pronovias right? Not any of the sister companies like La Sposa or San Patrick right?

Re: Another Pronovias Flaghip store concern...
I went to their runway show about a month ago.
I'm not looking to try on any dresses yet so i made an appt for sept. But they didn't ask for any credit card # or anything. I'd call and ask about that.
I believe you can still look through their books and i'm not sure about their other lines of dresses.

if you're looking for pronovias, you can try the wedding plaza in floral park-they had a decent selection
Oh sorry, I meant to specify that when they took my credit card # it was for the appointment to try on dresses scheduled for May 9.

yeah.. at first i made an appt with them to try dresses on at some project bridesmaid event back in March and they didn't take my # then. When i went to the runway show they also didn't ask for a cc # for my sept appt to try dresses on.
OH, i would def check out other places who carry pronovias first. Because i have the coupon your takling about but it's only good for the FIRST time you try on dresses.

I would take the appointment on May 9th...you would still have enough time to purchase in time for your wedding. You want to try on the dresses- seeing them in a show is one thing and trying them yourself is another. I would ask that they honor the trunk show discount on the 9th.
They discounted my dress since my initial consultation date was during a trunk show (I went twice before actually purchasing).
The flagship carries only Pronovias, Manuel Mota, Manuel Mota Costura, Valento Sposa and Ellie Saab. The last 3 are high extremely high end.

if you are looking for a La Sposa, I got mine at Wedding Atelier on 5th Ave downtown. I didn't have to give a credit card # to hold my appointment.

My friend got her San Patrick dress at the Flagship Pronovias store in March, so they do have some San Patricks as well.
