Another Q...

Another Q...

For the E-party, our envelopes came with our return address printed on the back flap (like on the outer part triangular thingy where you seal it).

Do I still need to put a return address on the front of the envelope? Or if there is a problem will the post office know to turn it around and look?

Also, is it proper to write 'Mr.' 'Mrs.' 'Ms.' for everyone? I always just feel funny referring to my friends with titles, but is that the right way to go about it doing it?

Furthermore, maybe this is silly to ask but is it:

Mr. & Mrs. Smith

OR

Mr. & Mrs. John Smith

Do I need to include the guys name or can I just put Smith? I don't feel like the guy's name should be the one on the envelope over the girls, but I also don't want my envelopes to look highly unusual.

having the address on the back flap is fine, you don't have to have the return address anywhere else

you don't need to put another return address if its already on the back.

I agree with Teri, having the address on the back flap is fine.

For my E-party I used Mr & Mrs for everyone. I just makes it a little more formal

you're fine with the return address on the back flap-you dont need to add it on the front too..

as for how to address the guests, i personally used

mr. and mrs. john smith, bc i thought my invites were a lil more formal-ish,

but if you're going for something more casual you can use mr. and mrs. smith-i think that would be fine as well

it just depends what level of formality you would like to convey

Mr & Mrs John Doe sounds appropriate, more so than Mr & Mrs Doe....

I personally don't agree with the whole Mr. and Mrs. John Smith. It's one thing to take your husband's last name, but it's a totally different thing to be called his first and last name. A woman should not be identified by a man.
Grr, that gets me very upset. I understand it's the 'formal' thing to do, but I will get offended when people refer to me as Mrs. Frank ____.
Just my personal rant
