ok, if i do move in with fh before my shower (it would be no more than a month before)...what do you consider to be 'essentials'?
i already have:
all our dishes pots corningware/pyrex sets our silverware crock pot baking sheets our glasses some serving pieces our towels
We can use my bedding i currently have, because we're keeping the same size bed

you could also put: -- art for the walls -- other decor (vases, statuettes, etc) -- area carpets -- window treatments (curtains, blinds, etc)
not really 'essential' items but 'very nice to have'

i live alone. i'd suggest going to bbb or williams-sonoma web sites and downloading the 'registry checklist.' it's reallyyy helpful.

the only thing is that i feel some of these things aren't 'essential' for the three-four weeks..like i could wait until my shower

sleep on-check towels-check plates-check i like to cook, and i have pots, so we're good there cups-check tv-i have a tiny one, but fils owe us a larger one
