Ok, So she made me up another sample. My whole issue was that I don't really have gold incorporated into my wedding, it's mainly eggplant, ivory and crystal. So when she made up my first invite it was with gold. I had her make me up another invite with what she calls taupe but it gives off a silvery shimmer. Please tell me what you think, I can't upload the pics so I made an album. Please be honest and tell me which colors you like better because honestly I don't even think that i'm crazy about the new color. Also, I had her just take away some crystals and leave the 2 center ones, I think it looks a little cleaner, so tell me what you think about that also. And I'm going to have her just add 2 crystals to the front instead. Check out my album and tell me which you like better. Thanks.
Honestly I love the second one so much more. But if you don't love it, why not ask her to put purple into the invite?

I don't really want purple on my invite. I thought i did at first but I kept leaning more towards the neutrals........ughhhh idk what the heck I want anymore. I'm about to just not have invites at alllllllll.

I agree with you about the crystals - I think 2 looks better than 6..........i happen to like this one more than the first....

Have you gone through the sample swatches of papers that she sent you? I feel like although your using eggplant if you go with a really pale purple it would look nice too. I forget the name of the color but I can look at home if you want.

Actually I hate pale purples, the only purple color that I like is like eggplantish colors. So, I definitely wouldn't want the pale purple thrown in. Also, I haven't received them in the mail yet. She is mailing them out soon with the swatches so I guess I could look through them then and see if anything pops out at me.

I could see that. I think that silvery color( which is what I like about so much more) would look great with a purple. I feel like it couldn't hurt to try one since you don't love this one. Do you check her blog? She just posted a new purple color that is beautiful. It's pretty dark...

I love the 2nd one. If you're not satisfied, have her do it in another color. She did at least 4 for me b/c I didn't like the colors.

I would take some time and think about it - not have them made right away. If you're wedding date is really Nov - you have SO much time to get invites. And if you're anything like me, you'll change your mind as time goes by. Plus, you may end up getting other things in the mean time that you can tie the invite colors/etc together with. I think it's too soon to be deciding on invites but that's jmo.
