I have been on the pill for 10 years now. I started when I was 18 to regulate my periods.
I am on a single-hormone pill .
I know you aren't supposed to get your period until the week of the sugar pills. Mine comes earlier than that QUITE often. Does this happen to anyone else? There some months that it definitely waits until the sugar pills like its supposed to, but other times it does what it wants.
I know, Im going to ask my doctor, but I figured I would throw it out there to see if Im the only one.
ETA: I take them at the exact same time every morning. Between 7-730

That has never happened to me - I start the sugar pills on Sat. and I always get my friend on Monday or Tuesday. I would ask the dr.

I've had the same problem...the first kind I was on was not strong enough, so I would get my period whenever...
I'm on Yasmin now, and it seems better...but there still have been times it isn't right. Usually it means the dosage isn't right for you...or at least that's what my doc said.

Hmmm... I would check with your doctor. I have been on OrthoTriCyclen for about 9 years now and my period always comes in the middle of the reminder pills... every Wednesday. I am sure everything is fine, I would just check to be sure!
I'm hoping to stop the pills as soon as this wedding is over!!! Make some !

Yeah I take them at the exact same time every day.
I thought about the dose thing. Iknow there is a certain weight at which the pill becomes less effective.. and Im kinda close to it, that could be it too I suppose.

Do you take them at the same time everyday? Or do you every so often forget till much later in the day or have to double up? I had the same problem I'm on the same pill too! It turns out, because I wasn't always taking them at the same time everyday and at least every month I forgot to take it and had to double it up. My doctor told me that was why it wasn't acting the way it was supposed to. HTH

I would try a different pill, that happened to me as well. I tried Orthotricyclen and it was not strong enough so I got my period for three straight weeks! Anyway, i take a stronger one now, and there have been no problems, i take them within the same two hour period each night and i have never had a problem. HTH
