another question.........how much are the stamps for wedding invites?

how much are the stamps for wedding invites?? i think im sending out a little over 100. anyone have a price?

most invites are $.63.

take a sample to the post office to have it weighed for an exact price.

also, the post office has new 'wedding' stamps. it's a combo pack of $.63 and $.39 for the invite and the rsvp.

MOST invitations (unless they are heavy or bulky or oversized) are $0.63 to mail. And don't forget that you also need $0.39 stamps for the response cards.

The post office has this wedding stamp set:

I have heard rumours that the stamp rates might be changing, so I wouldn't buy them in advance for that reason.

I also wouldn't buy them in advance because you REALLY need to wait until you have an actual sample of your invitation and all the other pieces you are putting in the envelope ... then bring that with you to the post office and ask them to weigh it.

They will tell you how much postage to put on them.

oh no for the e-party invites FH had to order them online and i think he got the .39 cent stamps

Yup - thats exactly what I did - 63 cents should do it....

Me too - but I would definitely get them weighed first!

before buying stamps, go to the post office with a completed invitation, and have it weighed. Make sure you have the correct postage!!!!

Yes, definitely bring a fully put together invitation to the post office and have it weighed. Also the shape and size play a role in the amount of postage needed. Ours were over sized (7.5'x7.5')and square so it was a bit more. They cost $1.02. Here are some pics of our invitation...
