another question....im annoying today!

so i addressed all of my STD's last night and got stuck on one!
Its an Uncle of FH's and his two sons.
Im only sending them 1 STD, because they all live in the same house....
How do I address the envelope??

To me it depends on how old the kids are.

If they’re like 14+, I’d write their names out because you don’t want them to think they’re invited with dates. We had a family of 6 do this to us at my sweet 16 (obviously, not as big of a deal, but you get the idea). They were a couple and 4 kids (all aged 16-25) and they ALL brought dates. They weren’t invited with dates!!!! And none of them were even DATING anyone, they just wanted to bring a date so they did. I will not make that same mistake again. Every name is going on every STD/INVITE/PLACECARD, etc.

I put Mr. ______ and Family. for the STDs.

For the invitations if the kids are 21+ they are getting their own invitations since they are going to be +1.

ITA - if you are not inviting them with dates (and they are over the age of 16 or so) i would spell our their names
all on one envelope. If they are younger or you do plan to invite them with guests you can put the xxx family.

My reasoning behind spelling it out if they are older and not invited with dates is bc i ran into an issue already...i mailed a STD to the xx Family (my aunt/uncle & cousins) and I found out that one cousin booked a hotel room bc he expects to be invited with a date. im keeping quiet til invite time comes around and he will be in for a rude awakening lol
