Yes, after your bid is accepted. Also, have all of your attorney's information on hand because the agent will need it to send the binder to. The seller's attorney usually drafts the contract but it is standard protocol (lawyer etiquette) that the buyer's attorney contact the seller's attorney first. Good luck!
