(came across that today...work for a jewelry company)

I'm not kidding, it's a restaurant in Staten Island!

Does anyone remember years ago in East Meadow there was a glass place..I don't know if it's still there.

The name of the store was Ed's Glass Works.

Well after a while the G fell off of Glass and it became

Ed's *ss works.

My family joked about that for a while when we lived in Bellmore.

There was restaurant on Hempstead Tpke in East Meadow called 'Fukudaya' or something and my cousin and I used to have a running joke about it.

There's a bar called Happy Ending on the lower east side (it was once a brothel).

'Epstein's Bar' somewhere in the city, I can't remember

and there used to be a place on Atlantic Ave. in Freeport called 'The Royal Screw Factory (or machine)' they made screws apparently DH used to get a kick out of that one and still comments every time we drive past were it used to be.
