Another reason why it ***** being one of the only districts not off this week
If it snows tonight:1) They will have to reschedule the night class I teach and I don't want to do it in March
2) If we have a snow day tomorrow, considering that my district does NOT build any into the calendar and we do not have a Memorial day break we lose the Monday off after Easter
I am really starting to wonder about the minds of our school board, or I should say lack there of!Ok That is my morning vent- back your regularly scheduled posting

Nope we are not off this week Bri grrrrrrrrrrr. Every 8-9 years they do this. But now they are threatening to do it every year unless we agree to come back before Labor Day.

I'm with you too.
But, my district is in NJ where I think all of the schools are open this week. It's my 1st year in NJ so it really s ucks! I'm so used to that break!

Not really we are off March 21-28 and April 25-29- Honestly I can't figure out where they wasted the days! We only have the Monday of Memorial day- so who knows!

No, no other places. The only thing I can think of is that we have it in our contract that we cannot go back before Labor Day.You have FM
