When FH and I move in next Spring, we will be taking my bed. I have a queen and he has a full- which is way to small for us.
Eventually when we have a house, we will be getting a california king. We are in each others way in my queen and when we have kids i think the biggest bed is the way to go!
so when registering for bedding, what bed should we register for? the queen for the apt or the california king for the house?
i think we may live in the apt for 3-5 years before moving into a house (moving into a house means kiddies are on the way!)

Re: Another registry question
it's a personal decision but I would register for queen bedding. if you aren't going to have a king for at least another 3 years then that means you would have to store the bedding for 3 years and who knows if you will still like it then.
I had the same dilemma but I registered for king bedding because we want to have a king within the next year.

Re: Another registry question
Depending on how badly you need sheets, I would split it.
Maybe 2 sets for the Queen and 1 set for the future California
Or, if you have decent sheets already, 1 set of really nice sheets for the Queen, and 1 or 2 sets for the California you plan to purchase...
and depending on where you register you could always exchange if you change your mind.
