Another registry question... MACYS xpost

Another registry question... MACYS xpost

You know how BB&B gives you major discounts on what is left on your registry after your wedding date?

Well does Macy's do something similar?

I registered for my vaccuum at Macys. It's very expensive even with a group chipping in I'm thinking no one will buy it for me.

I just saw BB&B has the same one, same price online (not in store).. So is it worth me changing it to my BB&B registry (in case I need to buy it) or should I just leave it?

Yes, Macys has discounts for buying out your registry after your wedding. Esp if you or your FH can open a credit card with them when you do so...you'll save a ton.

My sister (getting married in a few weeks) doubled her items - if both BB&B and Macys had them, she put them on both registries. My other sister has been managing her registries online, and if we see that someone purchased off of one registry, we knock it off of the other. That way after the wedding, she can purchase whatever's left at the best deal between the two stores.....and also guests have the most options possible and can pick which place they prefer to shop.

HTH!

that's a really good idea, I'd really have to stay on top of it though.

I think I may do that for some of the more expensive items though.

The Macy's rewards program is pretty awesome. You get money back (i think in the form of a gift card) for every purchase you make with your card, and a percentage from what people buy off your registry.
