Do receptions halls give you a seating chart picture or something when its time to do seating chart?
yup...my hall gave us a map of what the room looks like with the tables.

Yeah, my hally gave me a chart and a picture of where each table is, how many it can sit in each location and what number table it is.

ahhh a FH fellow bride, you are a godsend. Is the seating chart just for you to make it easy for you and then do placecards or do you have to bring this back to FH as well when you drop everything off?
Also when do they need a final head count by?

Your final head count will be the week of the wedding, when you go in to make your final payment.
They give you a seating char w/the table arrangements as well as a guestlist chart - where you will fill in the names, number per table, and the table number, which they do take from you.
oh and does anyone happen to have a picture of the garden terrace room seating chart scanned?

oh ok, do they also make up place cards for you? Or if you're doing your own do you let them know so they don't make them?
yes ours gave us a picture with the table #s that they use....we made copies to make drafts and then we had to give them the final copy a few days before
