I assume the MOB would do it but is there any ettiquete for this?

I don't think there is any etiquette with this. I think sometimes it's even the MOH that helps the bride get dressed.
I am personally going to have my mom help me into my dress since I am going to be getting ready at her house and in her bedroom since it's bigger. I also want a picture of her zipping up the back of my dress. The BMs will probably be in the room as well though.
For FSIL's wedding it was just us BMs in the room with her getting ready and her sister helped her into the dress.

How very cool!
I will be having my mom help me. She has even asked the salon to show her how to bustle me so she can do it. I'm sure some of the BM will help her.
