2010er here .... FH and I are going on a 12 day Hawaiian cruise + 1 day before the cruise + 1 day after the cruise ... can't freakin' wait!

nothing booked yet but right now we have it priced out for 9 days, 8 nights. We may decide to add another day but chances are we are not. I think that's a good amount of time to be away, plus we are going to doing a mini-moon after the wedding and then Ireland in August so I will be vacationed out by the end of the year LOL

I went with 7-9 nights. Haven't given the honeymoon that much thought yet but that will probably be best for our budget and I don't know where we're keeping our pups and I will be so worried about how they are doing!!!
Lol can't be away from them that long.
After a honeymoon to somewhere for 7-9 days, I do want to take another week off to chill at home with our pups as husband and wife and relax some more before going back to work!

This is the cruise I'm thinking of, what do you guys think? It will be $2,600 for a balcony pp. Is that a good deal?

Have you ever been on a cruise before? Because if not and you aren't sure you like cruising it is a lot of sea days. I love sea days so it sounds absolutely perfect to me but my best friend doesn't really like them she rather me on a beach so it wouldn't be good for her.

i agree with the OP, have you ever been on a cruise? and even if you haven't everyone likes different things. I think i sw this on a Royal Caribbean cruise. I personally do not like so many days at sea as this one. I would rather be able to visit more places. To me, your paying so much and you could pay less for a shorter cruise going to the same countries. Someone else might enjoy all those days at sea. But $2600 pp isn't terrible.

it's a Carnival cruise - it was a really good deal
there's also an NCL Hawaiian cruise that's 7 days long and therefore, is cheaper, but i've been on NCL before and i don't like their food

FH & I agreed that we are doing a Mediterranean Cruise (not sure which islands yet) and we will spend about 4 days in Rome.
All in all, we should be gone for about 3 weeks.

we will prob go around 5 nights. We weren't sure we were going to go on a honeymoon but I said we need and deserve it. I am going to miss my little ones terribly though. We are prob going to go to an island and just RELAX!!

were doing prolly 6 nights......i dont think i could take much longer than that on the beach.....i didn't wanna go on a sightseeing long honeymoon, i just wanna relax w/ the new hubby for a week

We are looking at 9/10 day cruises out of London or Barcelona. Then we will spend a few nights in paris and london after the cruise. So probably around 14/15 days!
