Another stolen topic...

Because quite frankly, lately we've been pretty boring here!!! (And I need a break right now LOL)

I know we've done it, but I always love to see what baby names we've all thought of.

FH will want to do the greek thing of first born named after someone in his family, second in mine, and back and forth...but I'm going to fight it tooth and nail, and the only thing that's saving me is that his mother said she regrets doing it herself, and this is from a woman who shares a name with 2 of her cousins.

For a girl:

If we have a boy, FH would like to name him Joseph James but I do not need two Joseph's in the house so I told him I would compromise on James Joseph (James is his father's name who passed away when he was younger)

FH and I just 'decided' on what we will name our first son, which is Aidan Joseph (or Aiden?). Joseph is his middle name and is a huge name in his family, but given that he has about 18 cousins/uncles named Joseph, we were not ever going to use it as a first name.

For girls, we cannot agree on even ONE name. It's infuriating. Every name I like (especially Madeleine) he thinks is an 'old lady name.' But then he wants names that I think sound like stripper names ... none of which I will name here so as not to offend anyone!

SO ... who knows. Sigh.

Those greeks.. (shh i'm greek too but i soooo broke every tradition posible..lol)

My sons are named:

Lorenzo Nicholas ( I despised the name lorenzo - BUT i SOOO regret that now because it suits my little man- and in the end i was just being stubborn and silly)

We wanted to be 'different' and i think we have accomplished that on all ends...lol

If we were to have a third one and IF it were to be a girl..
DH is glued to 'Alessia'
I would love to name her after me Alexandra but it may be corny because my eldest is named after DH..

Danny is a great name it sounds nice when you're being sickly sweet and you want something 'Daaaannnny' and it's easy to snap 'Daniel' through gritted teeth when you're annoyed (FMIL & FSIL taught me that one!)

FH is jewish so to follow his traditons we will name our first born after someone who has passed Fh father was names alfred charles so we are going to use his initals ACL.
