IBS is something that you can take care of by avoiding certain foods, while Crohnes is much more serious (i believe).
My friend had Crohnes and had terrible problems with it....very difficult disease!![]()

my little sister has crohns and its something to do with the small intestine i believe. she takes medication for it

crohns is an inflammatory bowel disease that can cause abd pain, bleeding, diarrhea and sometimes requires surgery. IBS is irritable bowel, more often thought of as a condition of the functions of the intestines.....you can have bloating and alternating constipation with diarrhea. HTH
