Another tanning question

Another tanning question

I started tanning last week for the wedding (which is 1 month from today!!!!!!! ). I do a medium pressure stand up booth. The first time I went for 5 mins and got absolutely no color. The second and third times I went for 7 minutes. I still don't feel like I'm getting any color where it counts (arms, chest, shoulders, face). Only where I don't really care (stomach, boobs). Am I not going long enough? The booth maxes out at 9 minutes.

I would just do the spray tan. Where the person airbrushes you. I did it for my wedding and i looked TAN. I would recommend going 3 days before the wedding. It smells a little the very next day. FM me for more information :)

Go in a high pressure bed ( the bulbs won't turn you red and I personally like them better) and use a bronzer/accelerator. Also whats your skin tone like? I have an olive skin tone, so I tan easily, while I have friends that are fairer, so they need to tan more often...

I think if you choose to do spray tan, than go to beach bum and get sprayed. I don't recommmend mystic tan or any of those booths b.c they will turn you orange. There is also another place in Great Neck that spray tans with an actually spray tan technician. I would look into that if you are interested.

I went to beach bum- they are the best. You actually look tan and not orange. If you do go don't be alarmed that you will look super duper tan right after you go and then it gets a little darker within the next couple of hours. It washes off a lot when you take a shower (supposedto wait six hours) and then your a nice tan color.

It did get on the inside of my dress a little but it came out when i got the dress dry cleaned.

i would def recommend going for a trial before the wedding. I LOVE IT!!!

Laying outside isn't an option for me. I live in the city and work during the week. Anytime I'm on LI on a weekend it's not for the beach...it's for wedding errands. Plus, it's rained so much that nice weekends have been few and far between.
