just booked my makeup trial today!! I go in 2 weeks so I will post pics! I went to MAC in the Smithaven mall...the girl that is going to be working on me seems really nice and has been in the business for a long time....and HER makeup was nice....I get nervous because I LOVE MAC products, they work well with my skin, but most of the people who work at the counter have WAY too much makeup on....so hopefully she does a good job!! On to hair!

that's great! I agree they always seem to have a lot of makeup on there but I'm sure they work to your specifications!!! Your m/u is going to look amazing - I can't wait to see your photos!

Thats so exciting!!! You also have to remember that the girls behind the counter have to have their makeup all dramatic and stuff....but that doesnt mean they do everyones makeup like that.....I love MAC!!!
One of my best friends worked for them for years and now does freelancing - she is amazing - she travels too - so if you want to try someone else also, fm me and I'll give you her info......(LOL im always promoting her for some reason....)

I always wanted to try a mac artist...but the amount of makeup they wear can be scary. BUT they're not going to do that to you if you don't want a lot.

That's great! Yea, I know what you mean about them wearing a lot of makeup at the counter. They are required to do that to sell the products I think.

MAC has a great reputation for makeup. Their products are great! They have all types of things you can use on the day of-like a primer type of thing-apparently it holds your makeup in place all day (like a hairspray for lack of better description)
