Another timeline question

Another timeline question

I'm getting married at 10:30 am, my limo is arriving by 9:45 am and my makeup artist is coming at 8am. The only people getting ready are myself and one bridesmaid.

So im not sure if telling my hairstylist to come at 7am is okay or should i tell her earlier?

I asked my photographer what time they are coming and am awaiting a response from them.

Do you only have one BM Gloria? If you only have one then I think that should be fine.

You are a brave girl Gloria... getting married so early!! I couldn't do that! Even as it is I think I'll have to be up by 8 that day! maybe earlier! And my wedding isn't until 3:30!

I have 3 but two are getting ready elsewhere and only myself and one bridesmaid are getting ready together.

I think that's just fine. I based it on how long it took her to do my hair at my trial...

Thats an early wedding, I agree with kerri...props to you!!

Thanks . She took like an hour and a half because she did two styles on me and also i was having my hair down but since my hair will be up i assume it will be even faster.

Re: Another timeline question

So essentually you have one hour for hair and one hour for makeup. Then 45 minutes before the limo comes to get you.

Considering it's only the 2 of you, I think that's fine. That means you each get a half hour of hair and a half hour of make up (if you were to split the time evenly). Also you still have that 45 minute time frame for getting dressed and pics and stuff.

I think your good!! Sounds fine to me!! I've done wedding makeup before.... and I did a bride, the MOH and like 3 BM's along with a MOB and it took me about 2 hours I want to say (maybe a little longer). I can't remember exactly. But roughly it was like 20 minutes a girl (some extra time for the bride). It all depends on how much they want done and also their face! haha that sounds funny... but it's true sometimes, esp if you get a 'flincher'.

Re: Another timeline question

I think i'm okay then thanks Kerri . I forgot to mention my mom is getting makeup done as well but not hair so i guess i can ask my makeup artist to come around 7:45 just to give her some extra time to start. Ugh i hate this timeline crap.

Re: Another timeline question

You mom can get her makeup done while you guys are getting your hair done. So I don't even think that's necessary. The MU artist might want to set up first though.

the one thing i will say.. is generally hair is done first. then makeup.

Re: Another timeline question

If you do the hair first...

7 am she starts (I'd have them arrive like 10 mins early to set up) the BM hair.

7:30 she starts you on hair.

8 am the MU lady starts (again she can arrive 10 mins early to set up) the BM MU

8:30 she starts your MU.

9 am your mom's MU.

9:45 Limo

Yea you might want her to come a little early for your mom's MU.

Sorry I had to write that out to really see it. I put the BM first so your hair and MU are FRESH!!!

I felt so bad asking my hair girl to be here at 4:30 but she said no problem and I surely compensated for it in gratuity.
