Okay...I was just reading another thread about the color of the vests and shirts. Im dress is ivory...so b/c of the thread I am having my FH wear a white shirt with ivory tie and vest...
However, what should my groomsmen wear. Where I am getting the tuxes at do not have the exact color of my girls dresses. So what color should I put them in?? I neep your opinions.
The place I am getting tuxedos said that I should get black if the colors don't match. (The safe bet)
I am using a similar color for my BM. Haven't decided what to do about the tuxedo vests yet either.

wow thats a gorgeous BM dress... ours are pretty much the same color. we used roger's tuxedo's and they had a 2 tone burgandy vest that matched exactly. so the GM will wear that, the dad's in black and FH in all ivory. if they don't have a vest to match, i'd put the guys in black.

Rogers Tuxedo has actual fabric swatches to match to BM dress colors - not one of those stupid color charts. If you have a BM dress fabric swatch you should check it out!!
ETA: If you are already locked into using another tuxedo store, silver would work very nicely with that color BM dress.

I agree with Darlene about the edited comment! We're doing a red dress for the BM and doing silver/platinum for the guys!
