I can't believe how real this one seemed. It was awful
First off, my wedding was RUINED. For some reason not revealed in the dream, we were HOURS late. And we had a change of location. The Church was my old Church all the way in Brooklyn instead of Floral Park. But the WORST part is that no one informed the vendors , so the photographer, videographer, even the harpist, noone was there Since we got to the Church LATE, they had already started another program, so we had to wait around another hour while that program finished. So by the time all that was done, and our ceremony took place (with no harpist) and for some reason, none of my BP was there except for my Matron and my sister. No Groomsmen either.
The kicker was that when we went to the reception hall, hours later, they had already started setting up for the next reception (ours was the early one) since we never arrived, and noone called them to say we were running hours late.
So after that whole fiasco, we finally go on our honeymoon - yeah HAWAII. Only to get back home and forget every and all details of our stay there. It was awful - I just kept trying to remember what activites we did, what our room looked like, etc... and I couldn't remember ONE SINGLE THING
I hope this is NO indication of what my real wedding will be like

Liz! You poor thing...did you just get out of bed b/c of that nightmare? Don't worry!!! Your nightmare is the complete opposite of what your wedding and HM are going to be. Its just your worst fears running around in your head..

Thanks Rebecca - and YES, the dream upset me so much I woke up, and with a SPLITTING HEADACHE !!!! Thankfully not a migraine though.
There was one upside to the nightmare, and that is that through it all, I looked BEAUTIFUL !!!

Re: Another WEdding NIGHTMARE --- UGH.......(LONG)
Dreams like that are good because you know what can potentially happen....so dont make it happen. Look left and right before crossing the street and remember, always hop the curb so you wont trip. Ok....let me stop acting like this is my advice. My fellow bride, I've been having nightmares for a good 2 months now and the advice I just gave you was my mothers but it works......oh yea, now I was thinking about hyphening my last name when I get married because I love my last name. If I was to hyphen it'll be Dr. Daychanel Vuitton-Cezanne'. Some people are telling me its too much and some people are absolutely loving it. Just to give you guys a comparison, UNHYPHENED: Dr. Daychanel Cezanne
Re: Another WEdding NIGHTMARE --- UGH.......(LONG)
LOL!!! So obviously you're not worried about how you're going to look...just everything happening on time and in the right place...
I've already had a few nightmares myself and its always over the same thing because its the one thing I'm really worried about...its normal!

Hi, well, good advice from your Mother, and I will take it
About your last name, I'm pretty biased, I don't feel we should have to give it up, so I say no matter what, keep your own last name and either hyphenate OR you can just ADD his last name w/o the hyphen so it will almost be like you just have 2 last names, and can go by either one. Just food for thought

And it looks like I just ate a good hardy meal. Ladies, Daychanel Vuitton Cezanne it is. Thank you Liz. How's your wedding plans coming along?
(My pic for the wedding.....this pic will be blown up to a serious size....like 50 feet by 40 feet and it will be in the reception hall behind us. My FH is taking his picture in March)
Re: Another WEdding NIGHTMARE --- UGH.......(LONG)
My nightmare was that my wedding was in MARCH and not JUNE and it was pouring rain outside...and instead of the ceremony taking place at my hall in the (beautiful) room that we reserved (in case of rain) it was in this little tiny space...like 4 wooden walls painted white with these plexiglass windows (they were horrid) with folding chairs (ugly ones) everywhere and no one was there....my father was giving me away and my mom was there 3 rows back glaring at me saying I should have gotten married in church...and there was a wheelchair in the way... it couldn't be a more textbook example of what I'm afraid of... all I needed was my parents to argue in my dream and it would have been complete!

OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So you're worried about the rain and your inside accomations Don't WORRY, the halls are always prepared for this. You gave me a visual, and I can see how scary that would be. But your day will be PERFECT, I know it

Re: Another WEdding NIGHTMARE --- UGH.......(LONG)
lizlen, i just woke up w/ a splitting headache after having a wedding nightmare too!! Uggh, it was soo bad, it poured the whole time, somebody brought the WRONG DRESS which DIND'T FIT, and forgot my tiara, stylist was late, photographer wasn't there (not that I was ready for pics!). I knew it was a nightmare the whole time but in my dream I was determined to make everything okay. Finally I woke up and my head is killing me!! W/ my day about a month away, I don't anticipate the nightmares stopping anytime soon.
