Another wedding nitemare

Ok so I don't even know where this came from....I wasn't even thinking of the wedding.....taking a little break for now, and I figured after the New Year I would jump right back in full force.....

In this dream it was my wedding day and I was getting my hair and makeup done, and once I saw myself in the mirror i looked like a clown!!!!.....I was flipping out and everyone was telling me how great I looked.....I was scearming 'what is wrong with you people I'm a clown'....Then I tried washing it off and it wouldn't come off I was a hysterical it was a mess..

Please tell that's its not just me!! I'm starting to get nervous that something like this will go wrong on the wedding day!!

Clown

To see a clown in you dream, symbolizes absurdity, light-heartedness, and a childish side to your own character. The countenance of the clown is a reflection of your own feelings and emotions. Whether it is a happy clown or a sad clown, that will help guide you through how you may be feeling. The actions of the clown signifies your uninhibited nature. Alternatively, it is an indication of your thoughtless actions.

If you have a fear or phobia of clowns, the clown may represent a mysterious person in your life who mean you harm. Somebody you know may not be who they appear to be. Or somebody may be pretending to be somebody they are not and are hiding under a facade.

I think it might be the last sentence in the 1st paragraph... You even said you wanted to take a break from the wedding planning until New Years... I think it's your sub-concious mind that is worried that by taking a break, you are being thoughtless/careless. Part of you maybe thinks you shouldn't be taking a break... or things will go wrong. Since you saw yourself as the clown- maybe that means you're the one putting on the 'facade' pretending you are not worried about the wedding and planning the little details, when meanwhile deep down, you are worried that you are taking time away from neccessary planning.

Usually dreams mean the way we really feel about soemthing. You are probably just concerned because like all of us you want everything to go smoothly- you want your day to be PERFECT... so you by taking a little break you are feeling guilty. Well DONT- us brides deserve a break from the planning now and then!!!

I know how you're feeling. Even when i'm not thinking of it i have freaky dreams like the wrong dress showing up on my wedding day, etc. I guess it's just part of the nervous excitement!

I started having wedding nightmares a few months before my year date. The latest one I had was about my shower... appararently someone spilled the beans about my shower to me so at the shower I was telling everyone well I knew about it so whatever like a total b*tch lol. These dreams are terrible! I'm definitely going to check out that sight.
