I have been looking at so many wine labels but feel none will match the bottle we are giving. We are giving the Sutter Home White Zinfandel 750 ML. What if I don't do labels and leave the labels on the bottle and order tags to attach. Do you think that will look stupid.

We are putting the bottles in organza bags and adding tags. Danielle (Dgoldfarb76) did the same.

I did the same for e-party and prefer that, but thats me. I did it because although not everybody drinks wine(like me) it can still be useful. If you have a dinner party you can use the wine, and you wont really want to pull out the wine that obviously was given as a favor at a wedding, or if you go to someones house and want to bring them wine.
I do think it looks nice when it has personalized labels so dont take offense people. Just did it for my own reasons so they can get more use out of it.

Thanks girls! Denise that is a good point. You made me feel better....haha I was like I want it to look really nice with our names on the label and everthing but I do agree with you. And it is so hard to find the size I need. I think I am going to look into the tags.

not sure if you would want to go to paper presentation in the city. But many sites sell them. Try beau-coup, theknot.com, and ahhhh theres another one thats great i have to find it, and also ebay

We're doing wine bottle favors also, and we're leaving the labels on. Going to make or order tags...
i got my wine labels and matching favor tags from here as well. Pics in my album.

It will not look stupid. We just decided to change or favors. Since we do not drink we are giving everyone sparkling cider and I am making the label and placing them in a wine box.

That is exactly why we are doing organza bags -- that and it is half the work then relabeling them all!

FH's aunt made our labels and we just put all the labels on the bottles this week,...it only too an hour for 3 of us to label 156 bottles...
It has our picture and some cute writing on it..if i was home i would show a picture, but I dont have pix on my work comp
