I'm only wearing heels during the ceremoney and some of the pics... then right into my ballerina slippers that I got from my bridal shop. They have the memory foam in them so they are SUPER comfy...def. worth 35! LOL

I am not doing heels, I can't really walk in them and we are getting on and off a boat. So no heels for me.

I was thinking of doing some white nike uptowns during the reception, but won't my dress be too long without the heels??

yeah you have to be careful with this. When they hem your dress its to the length of you with your shoes on and once you take the shoes off the dress will be longer and drag a little. I love heels and have no problems walking and dancing in them all day. When we were leaving i did put flats on but only bc i had just healed from a broken foot and it was the first time i had worn heels in about 7 weeks and after 12 hours in them thought it would be a smart idea. Once I started walking out of the RH to the limo in my flats, i was tripping over the front of the dress and had to hold it up.

THis is what I want to - just a little heel b/c otherwise I think I'll look too short!

For those of you who want to wear something more comfy but are worried about your dress dragging all night because of the flats I found these... they have a wedge so that will help to avoid the dress dragging...and here is the web site if you are interested

im wearing some sort of ballet shoe to the church and reception!!!!. I have seen websites specifically for brides. They make them really pretty with rhinestones or pearls..and also to match the color of your dress. White/cream whatevers.

Re: anti heels

I got white flip flops with about an inch and half heel. I decorated them with blue and clear crystals.

Uhm, me! I'm 5'10 flat footed. I don't need any kind of heel. I got silver ballet flats.

My sister wore flip flops the whole time. You can't see under all that fabric anyway.

I feel the same as you do on this. However, everyone tells me you carry yourself different in a little heel. My heels are super low (see wedding stuff album). However, after the formal photos during the reception I am changing into converse I had personalized.
