okay so im a another antibiotic that clearly states on the the side of the bottle to avoid sunlight and artificial sunlight while taking this antibiotic...a friend of mine told me its b/c it will cause me to become blotchy?
has anyone heard of that?
and if so... i've been tanning for months, do you think that it will really affect the tan?

Usually it means that you are more susceptible to a sunburn if you are exposed or over exposed to light, even if you normally tan. I know this is the case for many skin medications I've been on.

i just asked FH hes a doc and he says he can give u a skin reaction but it doesnt always happen just a risk factor but id stay away for the course of the meds

Yup...I severely burned while tanning as i was on anitbiotics! Dont do it!

I severely burned one time when I was a teen on antibiotics. i found out after the fact that I wasn't supposed to be in the sun. Be careful!
