So I think my fh and I decided on sandals antigua for our honeymoon. But having trouble deciding between the Caribbean and mediterrian side. Any help or suggestions are welcomed!
silly fyi bc I didn't know this. idk if u do but we met with a travel agent at some street festival and he told us that it's against the law to wear camouflage clothing there.... that's all fh owns pretty much as far as shorts, so that's out for us now. I

I decided to book the private rondaval on the Caribbean side - but it's very centrally located - right near the Mediterrean side.
DH and I went there for our honeymoon this past August. It was absolutely THE most amazing vacation we have ever been on. We had a butler on the Med side. The Med side is much newer and has fancy, upscale suites. You also have excellent views of the water because you can be up to 7 floors up. The Caribbean side is older. We loved everything about the trip. We went for 10 days which was also really nice. I'd be more than happy to answer any and every question you have! DH said I sound like a tour guide when I explain it to people so I'd say I have a pretty good handle on things. Also, sometimes travel agents don't tell you everything or even know everything because they all haven't been there. Mario's is the best place for breakfast and you HAVE to have the chocolate lava cakes there too for dessert! FM with any questions :) If someone asked me, I'd pick the Med side, but in all fairness, I haven't stayed on the Caribbean side, so I'm basing that off the looks of it. I also know they've said those rooms aren't as nice and definitely not as new/updated.

So, I'd never heard of this resort before I read this thread. Of course, I googled it. And OMG I might have to look into this for our honeymoon!!

We were originally going to go July 19 - July 28 but I'm actually in the midst of pushing it a week back and Melissa is helping me keep my sanity in doing so! So now I think we are going from July 26 - Aug 4
i will be going june 28th -july 12. im so excited were getting married in feb but not going on our honeymoon until july
Antigua was my second choice for our honeymoon. It was between that and St. Lucia but we went with St. Lucia. I know a few people that have been to the Sandals in Antigua and loved it!! You're going to have a great time!
