ughhhh I am feeling very antsy lately! My wedding is SOOO far away and I want to start planning!!! We are waiting to book vendors until at least the summer but I am sitting here and watching wedding shows and talking to people at work and reading bridal magazines and sometimes I just wish that my wedding was next year!!!!

Don't worry, it's gonna go faster than you think! Just use this extra time to do EXTENSIVE research on each and every vendor! You're definitely doing the right thing by holding off on booking just yet. This way, you'll have no regrets or second thoughts later on! And at least your wedding is in January 2012, it's so close that it's *almost* 2011.

ahh i know!! it feels like so far away...but i got engaged last july and i cant believe that will be here in a few months its crazy!! enjoy this engagement time together...and the time will fly by and be here before you know it

Just do lots of vendor shopping and take your time!
You'll be able to see lots of vendors and before you know it you'll hit that18 month, 12 month , 6 month, 1 month, etc

Ill be honest ... although you dont want to book all your vendors you may want to start peeking around. The advantage youll have is locking into 2010 prices! You should start maybe visiting some places. It all takes a lot of time - more so than people think!

i feel your pain lol i pretty much started booking vendors a year and a half out and honestly im so glad i did a lot fo stuff early because once you hit the one year mark it flyyyysssss..... not only that, it was actually really convenient to have deposit payments spaced out, like 500 here, 2 months later another 1000, etc rather than booking all these vendors all at once ya know

It definitely goes fast.. I got engaged Jan 09 and my wedding isn't until June 2011... so believe me i know how you feel. I am only booking vendors now.. i waited a bit. It does pass quickly though, so while you feel that way now, you wont for long!

It really does go by so quickly. Just do research on your vendors and you should have no problem. Then the time flies by....
