We have an appointment with Pedestals in 3 weeks when we are off for Feb break. I want to book DJ and Phot/Video first though.

Met with Burtons last week, and Flower Michelle just today. I'm meeting with LA Blossonm next week - but at this point, Flower Michelle is the one to beat (just loved John)!

A little bit of both. Actually, they were about $10 apart in price - but I just liked the way John approached everything - I could tell he was trying to listen to me and deliver the best options - like he really cares about my wedding. I liked the woman I met with at Burtons too - but I think Flower Michelle delivers a higher quality product.

WHat are meetings with florists like? Do you just discuss oricing and come back to do design or do you do it all now? Do you get samples?

I actually went this weekend to a florist... Again I agree with Kissy (geez, bright minds think alike!), I think you should do things when you want/can do them.

Getting the florist is my February project. My last vendor to book and I'll be done booking all my vendors.

I went to visit one florist her name is Jenn at jennblossoms.com i got a good price quote from her. Going to see a few more people in like April most likely. I have to get the photographer first. That is the hardest part so far. And i need more money to make deposits.

I'm looking into that now. I have an appointment with Simply Stems this Sunday. I then want to look at Malkmes Florists, Flowers by Brian in West Islip and maybe Burtons. I was given a quote by some florists at a bridal show recently and I almost died! I know who NOT to go to, price-wise.

no i have not gone but i know who i am using i am actually going to go to the florist in march and ask them what colors and flowers are good for that month . this way i can start looking for bm dresses

I booked my florist two weeks ago. I have to meet with her again in a couple of months to go over the colors I want to do.
