I'm new to the site! I'm getting married on June 11, 2006 at Lombardi's on the Sound at the PJCC....Has anyone been to a wedding there since it has been redone? Please let me know how it was!

Me and FI are getting hitched in 2006 too! Hopefully in March or April- We still have to book a hall.
My Parents just went to a wedding at the PJCC about a month ago and they loved it!! They could not stop talking about how beautiful the place was and how good the food was.

just a thought - you may want to keep a small journal from now til yr wedding. Not a dairy - but just a book with your thoughts - whenever you feel like writing
it is really nice to look back & see how yr wedding planning evolved.
I kept one & it has all my wonderful memories & frustrations .....

we got engaged on nov 1, 2003 and had originally planned on a nov 3, 2006 wedding. we moved it up to august 2006 when we realized it was the same price as november.

Yay 2006 brides! I'm Marissa and my wedding is booked at The Estate @ East Wind. So far it's the only thing (other than engagement party stuff) that we've booked. I attended the bridal showcase last weekend there, and talked with different vendors.... I really liked the woman from ADA studios, nice lady....great work, and reasonable prices.... but I'm gonna shop around!
June06- my future in laws just went to a wedding there and loved it! So far I have heard great things!

We are not primarily paying for the wedding. We haven't started working yet (we will by the time we get married) so my parents think it's 'the parents'' (both sets) job to cover it and keep us out of debt. Needless to say, lots of arguing, but I imagine that happens no matter who pays! To answer your question we got engaged on 8/17/04.
As for introducing myself I'm Jewish, marrying the love of my life who also happens to be converting to Judaism. Our parents are struggling with very opposing views and values regarding the way [insert random issue here] is 'supposed to' be! We are struggling to make it through the next 18 months alive....only 18 months--yayayayay!!!!
kim51103, we are date twins. and its really funny b/ci was torn between carlyeon the green and glen island harbor club.(for the same date) We wound up with Glen Islandb/c we said from 2years ago we wanted our wedding to be there. But carlye was so gorgeous too!!!! lots of luck planning...only 588 days left!
