I remember when I got engaged back in 9/04...I felt like I was the only 2006 bride. Many 2007ers will start popping up...come chat on the 2006 board

Maybe they are trying to save money, take more time planning, etc. Its not that long of an engagement,

That's what I was wondering... if the extra time was for saving money. With prices these days you really need it.

I'm right there with you somethingblu. I'm actually getting sick of the ' Its about time' Then there are a few that say well now you'll be 'official' because not only have we been engaged for almost 5 yrs we have been living together for 3 1/2 yrs!

Hey, thanks for making me feel at home. We are actually trying to save some money, everything is sooooooo expensive. I've been with my boyfriend for 10 years so another 2 shouldn't make a difference. We have so many bills and a young child so everything is kind of difficult. In the main time i'm just looking around and picking up things that are pretty resonable. I can't wait for my date to get here.
