Any 2009 girls who has not got a wedding dress yet?

Iam getting married in late fall/early winter 2009(I kept my date a mystery for a reason, lurkers)

I feel like I been everywhere for a wedding dress and I havent felt that one has been the one?I am so scared that I will never find it(I wake up at night nervous!)

Please let me know if I am not alone, and it freaks me out that 2010 already have like a dress, BM everything done!

I havent yet but my dress is going to take 2-3 months to make so I am getting measured next saturday.

It really depends on where you are buying your dress. If you were getting your dress from a regular shop I would really start looking ASAP.

I got mine really early just in case and then it came in like 3 months so it's just going to be stored in the bridal store now until my wedding. So don't worry, you still have time.

It depends on the designer, some take 3 months or 6 months to come in, some 8 months, mine took a year. But remember that it should come in about 2 months before the wedding to start alterations. So dont think about now until wedding day, think about now until 2 months before your wedding for the dress to come in.

What style are you look for, any particular designers that stick out to you, maybe go to their store. Also remember that changes can be made to a dress. So if there is a dress you love but one thing you would've wanted different, you can have that one thing changed and made it the way you want.

I got my dress last august- it took 4 months to get in- it is a dimetrosis. Its been sitting at the bridal store sinc dec...so you have time, but I would get looking. One of my best friends is getting married in oct and she she just got her dress ordered...

You have so much time you don't need to worry! I didn't get my dress until April or May of last year and it came in September, with months to spare. So don't worry you'll be ok!

Besides, you don't want to rush into any purchases. That's how you end up making rash decisions and regretting the dress you get. And there's no returning once you buy!

Just got mine like 2 to 3 weeks ago! So exciting to FINALLY have a dress! We are getting married Nov 6th. So just about 8 months.

I only got mine 5 months out (1 month ago). I was told many bridal stores wait to put the order in anyway. Also, I didn't want to have to store it.

ETA: I got a corset back which needs less alterations and I don't need it hemmed.
