Any 2014 budget brides

Hi,
Was wondering if there were any other 2014 budget brides who might want to trade ideas or other planning information.

I am a 2014 budget bride with a 6k budget for 100 ppl. So far we are planning to use the caterer and wedding/rh listed below, I haven't booked anything yet though.

I wish I could keep it that low. I'm already wayyy over that.

Jacktart86: For me its about prioritizing what's important to me not my family or friends. I set a budget I am comfortable with and am working around that set budget. Will I get everything I ever planned or hope for NO but the thing that are most important I am willing to pay for Food, most of the aspects of the wedding will be dyi or friends/family offering services for free.

that is great! Good luck but I am no help I've gone over on every item we have budgeted for so far.

I think I budgeted wayyy to high for some stuff so we haven't really gone over yet (my dress was $3 over budget but my mom is paying for it and was fine with it lol).

Congrats! Thanks for sharing this information. I think It's wonderful that you are having a reasonably priced wedding. Food and venue are the most important. You're going to have a wonderful day

I love that you are keeping everything at low cost. We chose destination wedding because of that and it is not as 'inexpensive' as you think. Good Luck with future planning!!
