i have a quick question!! what is the maximum amount of money you need to make to NOT file income taxes? my granny is unsure if she has to file or not--TIA!!!:)

i don't know if it's changed, but i remember it used to be $2000. don't quote me on it though.
eta - but you might still have to file if you have cap gains/losses even if you don't have earned income.
