Re: Any advice?

There is a Chateau La Mer thread on the 05' board. I went to a wedding there a couple of months ago and it was one of the best weddings I have ever been to.

I also have been to a 50th Suprise Party and Windows and it was nice, the food was good but the service was a little lacking. I have never been to Beach Club.

I've been to Windows on the Lake and loved the food and the view!

Chateau la mer and Windows were the first two that I looked at when searching for the reception. I had a better experience at Windows than Chateau. If I had to choose btwn the two I would choose Windows just because I thought the people were a lot nicer. I went to one of their bridal expos and it was great except their cocktail hour was kinda crowded, food was great. I didnt check out Beach Club, but from what I was told the larger room at Windows is the same exact room at Beach Club, except Windows holds more people. Best of luck checking them out.

Are you meeting with Nick at CLM? It's a beautfiful place and they give you so much for the price... definetly go to a tasting if you can... if you have any questions feel free to ask or check out the thread on the 05 board!

I looked at Beach Club Estate...IMO the room was VERY small, but other than that I loved the place. If it hadn't been for the size of the room I probably would've booked there.

windows on the lake is where my girlfriend got married and it was a very nice place and the food was great! but the cocktail room is up stairs and she had someone that cou,d not get up to it, and we had a smal problem with the attendent which i found out she is no longer there. i was in the bp and will give it a b+ good luck!

I went to windows on the lake once a couple of years ago and wasn't too impressed. I don't think they were having a very good day. The dinner was taking forever to come out and then the power went out!
We were in the darkness for about 20 minutes. I don't think that this was their fault, but unfortunately, I always associate them with that.
