Any advice on photographers/flowers/dj's?

Hi everyone, I figured you girls were the best to ask in terms of research on photographers/dj's and flowers! Any advice would help me greatly!!!

We booked Long Island Sound for DJ and ADA Studios for Photography and video. They are both great!!! Haven't looked into any florists yet. HTH!!!

We are probably going to use Tommy Tunes for our DJ, I have been to parties who have used them and they are really good. I need some advice of photography and flowers too. I heard DUET was good for photography and video, I have to make an appt. with them.

Yea I agree with lilpie, from what Ive heard both here and on theknot, duet and tommy tunes seem to be very popular. We are going to check out duet in august and tommy tunes probbaly in january or so. Also Ive heard pretty good things about Burtons for flowers.

I think we are going to go with In the Mix for DJ. They have been recommended to me by a couple of people and my aunt is using them for her wedding. They don't require a large deposit either so if i hated them at her wedding i could always cancel since i have lots of time.

Anyone heard anything about flowers by Brian?

I would recommend Vinny from High Voltage Sounds. He is a vendor on here. Many brides have used him and have given him rave reviews. If you do a search, you'll find the reviews.

For flowers, I recommend Signature Florist. George has been wonderful to work with.

I'm waiting until the fall to early winter to book my vendors, I want to save some money to put deposits down.
