We were booked at the Halcyon, but they were overbooked when we got there. They put us into the Grande and we love, love, loved it. They upgraded our room and it was amazing. The food was great and the place was beautiful. We went horseback riding and mountain biking. I highly recommend the mountain bike trip. I can't praise Sandals enough after that trip, we loved it so much we are going to do another Sandals next year.

Re: Any advice on Sandals St. Lucia?

we stayed at the halcyon about a year ago and loved it! I was practically crying when it was time to leave and it wasn't even our hm. The grande seems to have calmer/more protected water if you are into water sports. St. Lucia is awesome and i definitely would recommend it!

Re: Any advice on Sandals St. Lucia?

Just got back from Sandas in St. Lucia earlier this week . I too was almost crying when we left. I LOVED IT.... St. Lucia is one of the most beautiful islands. I have been to many carribean islands but St. Lucia is so lush! I have also been to Sandals four times and four locations. St. Lucia is the best ! I have been to Ocho Rios, Negril, Bahamas and now St. Lucia. I have to say the Grande surpasses the other two St. Lucia properties. The food is the best at the Grande and so is the view. I stayed at the Regency, which was fun, and had a great pool. We stayed on the bluff and got a great room. They upgraded us, since we weren't satisfied with he oceanview room we reserved. The beach was a bit rough there though. It's great if you want to golf,...I visited the Halycon and it was nice but smaller and more intimate. I had a great drink at the Halcyon...called 'THE LED PENCIL' hmmm a strawberry cream drink.... Barefoot by the Water, Josephine's (Crepe Place), London Pub, and Tuscanio, are all good restaurants at the Grande. Pitons at the Regency had tasty dishes. The Regency's breakfast was great,.....but their lunch and 'gourmet' restaurants weren't wonderful. The ingredients didn't seem to be high quality. All in all, Sandals, is a great vacation. You can easily get to all three locations, the furthest apart the properties are at the most 30 min. The shuttle runs every hour. They include so much...and really did out did themselves with the Grande. It's absolutely gorgeous.
