Our big day is 04.01.06 and here's what i've done so far: -I'm getting my invites printed next week, so those will drop in the mail mid-JAnuary -booking florist at the end of this month -need to figure out ceremony music -NEED OFFICIANT--to do this month!
photog-booked--need to schedule pre-wedding shoot dj--book--need to create 'must-play' music list
December TO DOs:
working on the design for the favor cards right now , decorating bathroom baskets at the end of this month, need to rent arch for ceremony at hall, need to figure out CH music, need to create shot list for photographer,, ned to order mongram ribbon for my bo-k, hair trial is in January, need to have make-up trial

Hey there! I have a lot to do, too but really we DO have time. Actually we have a lot of the same things left to do, like choosing an officiant! I'm definitely starting to feel stressed lately, tho..I think it's the holidays that's doing it to me..I think these next few months are really gonna FLY by!! But then of course we will be married!

Let's see...from the last time I posted, I have made great progress...
This is what I have left..
Florist Videographer (sort of, since I'm waiting for the contract in the mail) Invites (have to get on that! - thx for the reminder) BM dresses...this is a major thing but can't get my sisters to cooperate! Veil and hair accessories oh and a stylist too!
That's all I believe!

I need to purchase attendant gifts, bra and shoes and make the ring bearer pillows. We also need to get those small things: unity candle, guest book, blah, blah.

I am behind, as usual.
Here is a brief snapshot of what's left: -invitations -honeymoon -hotels for OOT guests -limos -tuxs -veil, tiara, undergarments, jewelery -rehearsal dinner -donation cards
That is enough to keep me out of trouble.

When should we be doing the hair and make-up trial thing? I think I have a false sense of security b/c my date is good friday and I haven't run into problems with booking anything yet!

all I have left is to purchase the rings, make a schedule for all the vendors, finish paying all vendors, make the menu, get the marriage license, go for fittings, and pick out music from my dj, m,ail out invites,

Hey - Congrats! We're 4/22 -
I have gowns (of course!) Location : )
Okay - Invitations are in, my address lists are not done yet Favors, in - packaging, not Florist booked - have to schedule the trial Photographer, video booked - have to finalize the video package DJ booked, songs about half done with that String Quartet booked, music selected Officiant done, and ceremony about complete - about - almost - still tweeking Hair and Makeup - booked but nervous - no trials yet
Need: Tuxes (selected online, sort of) have to actually GO now! Limos Programs OOTowner stuff - hotels/transportation RINGS Jewelry and Hair/Tiara/Veil decisions!!
Every time I think I have a lot done, I realize how much I still have to do!
I have my catering hall booked and my Pastor is ready to roll.....and that's it ...pray for me
Here are my things to do in somewhat order
Photo/Video - appt tomorrow
Music - appt on monday
Invites: DIY project going to buy the supplies next week.
Favors - narrowing it down
Flowers: DIY project for my friend/wedding planner
Dress: starting Sunday
Bridesmaid dress and Flower girls dress - next weekend
Have to figure out what I want to do with my hair and make up.
What else?

I would say YOUR GOWN!!!!
Considering yours will have to be rush ordered (as well as your BM dresses) I would get a move on that as fast as possible. I know that this is the latest you can order a Maggie Sottero gown for a rush order if you want it in time for the wedding.
I rush ordered mine and it still took 5 months to come in!!

Thanks....Gown shopping is starting this weekend...but I have no problem getting something that they have in the store already. Bridesmaid dress is almost covered.....but I do have to figure out what my mom is going to wear!
