Hello all brides to be! I am looking for anyone who is currently booked for a '09 wedding at the Beach Club in Lake ronkonkoma. We booked backed in Feb and was fully aware of the renovations that would take place. However they haven't started yet! We are booked for 5/03/09 and ofcourse getting a little nervous. My concern is I love this place (and what it will look like)and must be renovated cause we will be having approx 225 guest which it is not currently capable of holding.2ndly I am not very fond of there sister location so I don't want to get forced into switching to there if there are not completed. Anyone have any advice or similar issues?

i would def have them sign in ur contract that all renovations will be done b4 hand

HI I JUST RESPONED ON THE 09 BOARD ME AND FH BOOKED SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR 2 REASONS 1 BEING THE RENOVATIONS....WE WERE TOLD THEY WOULD BE DONE IN APRIL ANOTHER PERSON SAID MAY ANOTHER SAID JAN SO WE DIDNT LIKE THAT WE WERE GETTING DIFF ANSWERS
2ND I WAS NOT FOND OF THE BM'S PUSHINESS HE WAS SO FULL OF S H IT WHEN HE TOLD US OUR DATE WAS THE ONY DAY LEFT IN MAY HE HID HIS BOOK WHEN HE WAS LOOKING FOR THE DATES AND I COULD TELL THERE WAS NOTHING ELSE ON THE CALANDER ANOTHER BRIDE HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE ALSO I FELT LIKE HE WAS NICKLE AND DIMEING ME FOR EVERYTHING IE: TABLE LINENS ,CHAIR COVERS, CARVING STATION ECT

krislee316 I appreciate you sharing your expierence with the BCE with me. I am going to see if I can get a stragiht answer as far a when renovations will be completed. (I was told March 15th/the second time/ we are booked for May 3) If not ,there was someone who posted Suffolk law for refunds which might come in handy.

Yes u can look into the suffolk law thing It may be handy in your situation I do have to agree with u the new place looks like it will be beautiful and th eview is amazing me and FH had to give up the view but we both felt in love with the place we booked good luck
