Any Beach Club Estate Brides Out There?????

My Wedding & reception is at the Beach Club Estate in Lake Ronkonkoma on 9/13/03 (can't believe it is one year to go from Friday.....YEAH!!!) and I was wondering if there were any other Beach Club Brides out there????

I was a Beach Club bride last September. I can tell you that you will absolutely not be disappointed in your choice. I have nothing but the highest praise for the Beach Club and everyone who works there. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Thanks for responding! But I noticed that your profile said your wedding date was in 2003?

We are going back again this weekend to see what the grounds look like at this time of year since we are getting married 9/13/2003. We booked it in early April so I want to see it at the time of year that we are getting married.

The profile is wrong. I am old timer on this board. I started posting here right after I got engaged in January of 2000. Some of the brides who had info in their profiles when LI Weddings changed their format had the same thing happen. There is no way to go back and change it. My wedding day was September 23, 2001. You might want to do a search on my postings from last September and October. My wedding review is there. I can tell you that we had beautiful weather that day and the Beach Club looked gorgeous. We were married outside in the gazebo and had our cocktail hour outside also. If are interested I can have my husband scan a couple of the outdoor pictures and post them for you to see.

I did go back & read some of your posts.

What room was your reception in?

You said you had 75 guests....did you have to have a minimum # of guests?

How much earlier did they allow you to get there for pictures?

We have the lakeview room & have to gaurentee a minimum of 80.

I think we were in the Lakeview room. They really didn't call it anything that I remember. But it is the white building that is right on the lake. 75 was our minimum, which we met. Our wedding was at 12 and we got there around 10:30 to take pictures. We booked there in early 2000 before they did the landscaping work on the property. You cannot imagine how awful it looked at that time. We had to take them on faith that the grounds would be redone before our wedding. They kept their word and it looked beautiful. I will have my husband scan some pics of the outside for you.

Yes that is the lakeview room (their words). We have a minimum of 80 to meet which it might be really close but I'm willing to pay for a few extra guest because I absolutely love the place....it is soooooo beautiful!!!! Our wedding is at 11:30am and I think they said we could get there 1/2 hour earlier for pics but that isn't much time so I will ask again as we get closer because I would like at least an hour.

I can't wait to see the pics!!!

We went there last weekend (when it was gray & cloudy out) to see the place again. It was all set up for a wedding that evening! It looked more beautiful than I even remembered!!!

Sorry Jodi...DH and I were on vacation for the last 9 days. Celebrating our 1st anniversary. Okay I tried again. Still too big. Will give it a shot tomorrow. Thought you might want to know that The Beach Club sent us a Happy First Anniversary card. I thought that was so nice of them to do.
