It is going from San Juan to Aruba, Curacao, st thomas, and st marteen.

Thats the same boat and trip I met my FH! This was our first cruise and once you have been on royal caribean i think it is hard to go on any other cruise liner. You feel like you are in a hotel not on a boat. We went in December of 2001 and the whether was so so. We had great whether in Aruba, the days at sea and Curcou. St, Marteen and St. Thomas was cloudy and rainy. I recommend it.

have you been on any other cruises before? I have been on a number of celebrity cruises over the years and LOVE them but - the only catch was that the time we can go they didn't have an itineraries that we were interested in - so we were looking at the AOS instead.
What kind of cabin did you get we are trying to decide between E1 or D1 (with balcony)

Not sure if its the same boat but I went on the Navigator of the Seas back in April and it was a lot of fun.

Yes Sonicstef they are I am pretty sure the same layout sister ships! It looks like a beautiful boat and like a great cruise. How did you find the food? service?

Christine when are you going, heather and I are going in november on that ship. I was on the voyager which is the same ship just different itinerary and the ship is amazing!!

I went on Grandeur of the Seas. We had a GREAT time. Just a tip...when you go to St. Thomas..you have to take the boat ride to St. John. It is a BEAUTIFUL island. One os my favorites

I went on both the adventure of the seas and the explorer...Although the layout was pretty much the same we had more fun on the explorer...there were more activities going on and much more night life....but then again maybe we just went on an off week

I thought the food was good. Not amazing but good ... like restaurant quality. On my ship there were two additional places where you had to pay $20 to eat and had to make a reservation. We only went to the steakhouse and that was worth the money b/c it was really on par with steakhouse quality food.
On my ship, there was this little cafe that had sandwiches and cookies and such... that always was tasty. And there was a wine bar run by Mondavi that was fun to visit during their classes (a flight of wine for $5).
Oh and if you can afford to upgrade, get a balcony. I cant even tell you how much more enjoyable the trip was with a great room and a new view every morning.

Mer we are going aug 04 (it would be the second half of our honeymoon - FH only has one week after the wedding before he has to be back for his summer semester of school - so we figured maybe disney for right after the wedding and the cruise in august at his next break)- you two will have to take lots of pics for us!
Sonicstef - we are DEFINITELY doiang the balcony we just are having trouble deciding if we want E or D category (both have balconies) do you know anything about them. I totally agree they really make the cruise to have them - all the past cruises I have taken recently we ALWAYS get one and it is amazing to be able to just relax on your balcony rather than have to just sit in your room.

I love the entertainment on the Royal Carribean ships. I haven't been on this one (my parents did), but they had an ice skating rink with ice skating shows! The only one I went on so far was the one that goes to Bermuda (it was a different ship than the one now when I went), but it was great. We are considering going on them for a Hawaiian cruise if they offer one.
