Why do I have to wait one month for a letter saying I no longer have coverage? (By the time I get the letter, it will be the day before my coverage stops) Is there something that I am missing or don't understand, why does this process need to take a month?

I need more info. Is the situation where you want to go on another policy but you can't be on both so you're waiting for a letter saying you have no coverage?

Exactly. I cancelled my insurance last week and they told me I would not be able to get a letter until the end of March. I don't need them to lie on the letter, I just need a letter stating as of April 1st I will no longer have coverage.
