I'm completely obsessed! I think I want to get the veil first and then dress shop around that. The Birdcage is my one MUST have! I can't wait to start shopping!
Ladies who are getting married in late 2013, have you started dress/veil shopping yet?

Any Birdcage veil brides?
Meeeee!
Ever since I got engaged I KNEW I was going to wear a bird cage veil. My Mother had a problem with it (she wanted me to have a long flowing veil) but once they plopped a bird cage on me as I tried on dresses-her words were 'Oh that's definitely you!' haha... so now it's good!
I bought my dress & bird cage veil this past February. The veil I actually got off of Etsy and I made my own fascinator for it, because a lot of the ones I saw in stores were HUGE with thousands of feathers & flowers... just too much haha

That's so awesome! I always look at the veils on Etsy and have been so tempted to buy one! What did you use to make the fascinator and where did you purchase the flowers/feathers (or whatever you used)?

I actually purchased the flower from Claire's... They have so many cute white flowers and the feathers I actually bought at ac Moore. A few months ago they has sections that had wedding-y feathers with crystals or beading.... They should still have them. I cut it down and hot glued it all together onto a clip I bought at ac Moore as well!

Nikki Lauren custom made my veil, and she does tons of amazing ones and fascinators at a great price!
