Other than the Davids Bridal on Northern. When I went dress shopping, I went to LI because I couldnt find anywhere to go in Queens...Does anyone know any good places?
Charisol on Northern Boulevard in Flushing. Alterations are included with the price of the dress. Though I didn't get my dress there my consultant (Maria) was very nice.
There's one called 'simply different' on Steinway street (next to blockbusters at 34th avenue) in astoria. They have some nice dresses in the window, but i went there for my first dress shopping and they were kind of 'weird'. The place is run down, but their prices seemed really reasonable and the window dresses are usually nice!
Did they have designer dresses at these places? Or no name dresses? Also did they have bridesmaids and flower girl dresses?

they dont have designer dresses, you cant find designer dresses on steinway.
Why dont you go into the city
Actually they do; when I was there, i tried on a number of Casablancas; I also tried on 2 pronovias and a designer from that label was IN THE STORE when i tried them on; he gave me his card too...

Ha! I didnt think so. Nowadays, Steinway is only good for Rizzo's pizza lol.
My mother was asking for a friend of hers so Im not too sure. Ill tell her to just check out places in the city. Thanks for the info!
If you are going to the city, try RK Bridal. They are wonderful. It can get crazy in there, so you have be patient, but it well worth it.
