I was just wondering...do you feel that doing hair in a salon is much easier and would yield a better result as opposed to having a hair stylist come to the bride's house the day of?
I was just thinking that maybe it would be easier to go to a salon since a hair stylist would be in their own environment and that things may just run more smoother... I know a hair stylist can always bring the things she needs w/ her, but I was just curious and would love to hear if it's actually easier having the bride go to the salon.

I am! It is true in a way, all the products are there etc. But for weddings a lot of hairstylists actually feel more relaxed with bride at their house! It's a really fun day at home, just make sure u use someone professional who brings everything and is good with timing!

IfI it's just you though.... It would prob be cheaper and easier to go to the salon

So I was just quoted for a trail and it was a $20 cheaper for her to come to my house rather than go to the salon? Maybe she made a mistake when saying that

What I meant to say is, if the salon sends someone to your house it will be more expensive, if someones charging you less to come to your house than they are charging you in the salon they work at, its probably because they are gonna come to your house freelance, which means the salon is not going to take any of the money, so she can charge you less. I love when bridal parties come into our salon!! Its so cute watching the girls get ready, but i am def. gonna have my hair done at home, with champagne lol! and yeah, i want the pics at the house. But ive seen girls do pics in the salon so its really up to you!

I thought it would be easier and quicker to go to a salon but then I realized that I want photo and video to capture some getting ready so then it would be too hectic...
