Ok I’m really bored today so I thought I’d start a new thread. Are there any brides on here (I’m sure there are) that are getting married to police officers? I’m trying to think of some way to incorporate his job into our wedding. JT offered to do an ice sculpture out of his badge or a hand carved watermelon out of his badge. I also purchased a custom engraved cedar cigar box with his police logo on the top. It’s awesome looking and something he can keep forever from our wedding. Just wanted to say hello to all the brides marrying a police officer and get your ideas.

I certainly hope I am. Fh will be taking the exam in June. (fingers crossed). It's his dream job to be an officer. Anyway, another bride on here posted yesterday her nypd garter info. It was def hot. I love that idea. Also, I love the cedar box idea, too.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for your FH!!! It's my FH's dream job as well. He applied to so many different departments. He finally passed everything for the Arlington Police Department here in VA. NYPD just does not pay enough for the type of work these fine men do.
I hope your FH gets his dream job!!!

I went to a wedding and the groom was a cop and for favors everyone got chocolate shaped like handcuffs and their names and date were enraved in the chocolate.

i had a special NYPD garter made for my wedding---thought it was a cute little touch
i've seen cop themed groom's cakes or ice sculptures too.

My FH is also a cop. For the ice sculpture at our wedding we are doing 2 hand guns that are going to be criss crossed with a heart on top of them. Very romantic & wedding like right...

Im marrying an NYPD officer...and your right. He has the hardest job in the world and doesnt get paid anywhere near what he should be. But he has too much pride for where he works to leave and go to Suffolk or Nassau.......
