Since there are 6 courses (including cake and dessert), I plan to eat bites of half of the courses and do our walk around during that time. We figured out how we can't spend much time at each table or the whole night will be gone!

NOPE!!! We didn't eat a thing..we were dancing so much.Flowerfield packed up some food for us to take home though... If I could do it all over again..I would stop and take a few minutes to enjoy the food I paid so much money for!

I am planning on eating, especially at the cocktail hour, I don't really care if I don't get to talk as much. We picked VIlla Lombardi's becasue we loved the food there, so I want to be able to enjoy as much of it as possible.

We ate. We actually sat down at our sweetheart table and ate our main course... it was great. I remember sitting with DH looking at everyone eating- it was great!
The Carlyle also put out quite a spread in the bridal suite for us after the ceremony- it was all the stuff from the cocktail hour & was GREAT.

I am planning to & I KNOW my FH will eat! I was just talking to my parents about this the other day-how rude is it that they charge for the bride & groom when 1)how much $$ are they already shelling out & 2)they don't even eat! o well! sorry for my little rant...

We picked such great food for coctail hour as well as the dinner. Every one tells me I won't have a bite of it all! I really hope I will!!!

I WILL eat!! #1 because i get headaches and lightheaded if i don't eat. #2 because I deserve to! hehe I'm not greeting people during dinner, who wants to be interrupted while eating?

we had some food at the cocktail hour...in our bridal suite (we were up there for a little while!) then we sat down for our salad and appitizer...but I do not remember eating too much of it...then we sat down for our main course which we sat an ate for about 20 mins.
You had better eat...you paid for it!!

I regret not eating at my cocktail hour. I heard raves about the food and we were to busy talking to everyone that we never ate. We did eat our dinner or at least part of it. and no dessert!! I wish I had eaten some of the pastries, but I was having to much fun!!!!!

We ate one plate of fettucini alfredo right after the ceremony, one bite of chicken and steak during the reception, one bite of cake. And that was it!

I ate at cocktail hour .... I kind of stayed stationary (to greet guests) & DH brought me a few plates to pick on. Then during dinner, we sat down together & ate. I knew the food was terrific & didn't want to miss it.
I'm also not a big fan of circulating at this time ..... even tho its a great time to .... I've always hated it when the BRIDE&GROOM came over & I had a big mouthful of food & couldn't talk!
But the rest of it we missed including the amazing desert. The only piece of cake I had was the bite I got when we cut it!
ENJOY the food! You'll be sorry if you don't get to.

Plan on eating at the cocktail hour and the main course. We want to enjoy our night and party as much as we can. That is why we made the decision to appear at the cocktail hour.

I planned on eating - I was determine too but didn't eat as much as I would have liked.
I had food brought to the cocktail hour sweet and spent some time up there with DH and bridal party. DH made me a plate but a lot of the food was messy - so I was afraid esp. since there is no real table or anything. At dinner, I ate my main course - the fish at least and it was yummy! I also picked an apple out of my salad. Didn't touch entree sides, pasta, salad/app combo, intermezzo, or anything from the full viennesse (except chocolate cups with baileys). All I ate of my cake was what DH fed me during cake cutting ceremony.
I wouldn't change the fun I had that day by stopping to eat but I wish I can get invited to a NRC wedding so I can try everything!!!

One of the first things my married friends have told me that at the reception is to make sure you eat or have them pack up your food for you, otherwise you will be starving and eating McDonalds that night! This has been a concern for me and Fh that we are paying a lot of $$$ and will never be able to greet our guests and also eat. We are going to try to do both, and the catering hall is making us our own private cocktail hour.

I didn't eat much from my ****tail hour, but I ate everything during the reception. The food was absolutely delish and I would NOT miss it!! That was the only time we weren't on the dance floor!

OH BOY, good question... I wanted to eat sooo bad but no time, we had 2 bites and that was it!
Majestic Gardens did give us lots and lots to take home - so that was great! So in reality we ate it for 3 days.
