Funny you should post this. Just this week, I called to get the new required permit information and the lady was very specifc about how we MUST be in the park by 5:00 but can stay until 6:30. She said if you arrive at 5:01 you wont be able to get in. I wouldnt say she was nasty but very firm. I planned to arrive around 5:15 . I am really disappointed because this is where we planned to do our pictures as well. So now we are going crazy trying to find a place that is close to our RH and as pretty.

Same with me....I was planning on having the BP arrive at 5:15 and we'd stay until a little after 6. The woman on the phone actually said she felt bad for a lot of the brides who have been planning on having their pix taken there.I spoke with our photog. and he said they can whip us in and out within 20 min as long as we stay up by the back part of the house - I wanted to have pix of FH and I down by the little bridge on the bay....or under the giant oak tree???
Does anyone know why they've changed the rules?

Guys, I heard they charge a large fee... Someone said $ 75 for a bridal party and if it rains they don't give you your money back!!!!!!! Check with them before you do anything!

There is a parking fee per vehicle and it's not cheap either. I dont know how much but I know its like $20 per vehicle or something. The coordinator at my RH told me about it. I just think that for the money you pay for the permit they should just let you in! And the rain thing is B S too!!!!! Just my take on things! I wanted my pics there too!
