I'm from brooklyn now living in Staten Island. The church was St. Thomas Aquinas and reception at Chateau Briand.

I'm a Brooklyn transplant by way of VA and a year in Manhattan. FI is also from Brooklyn although he did live in NJ and Queens briefly.

I like a lot of places in BK but so far FH likes Jericho Terrace, Fox Hollow and Brentwood Country Club (for the price only since we have not seen the inside and won't until the 10/28 showcase). I loved Milleridge Cottage but FH thought it needed a lot of updating.

A friend used the Boathouse at Prospect Park and it was very pretty. She had about 50 guests and I do not think it holds enough for our list - currently at 192 but if I have my way it will be about 120 tops.

So, I wrote all that to say I'm not sure where we're getting married.

Hey I live in Queens but FI lives in Marine Park (georgetown) and I'm there allll the time, practically live there. He is on M and 72nd!!!

If we have a Brooklyn GTG I will be there :)
