I am currently living in Brooklyn, but my entire wedding will be on LI.

I just started working in Brooklyn, and I dont really know the area that well. Anyone know the Boro Park/Bay Ridge area? Any good places to eat? Shop? Any info would be appreciated!

I live in Bay Ridge. It's a great area. There are many great places to eat suc as: Salty Dog, Gino's,The Pearl Room, and Chadwick's.

As for shopping, there are many cute clothing stores on 3rd Ave and try the 86th St. area. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info! I have to walk around there sometime and really discover it. When I get there I am running into work, and have no time to really get to know the neighborhood. One day when I am off, I would like to go walk around and absorb. Thanks again!

I work at Maimonides, (49th street and 10th ave) and there is NOWHERE within walking distance that is good to eat! Am I missing something?? Is there anything up on Fort Hamilton Pkwy??

My FH lives on FORT HAMILTON Parkway I know there is a really good pizza place across the street form him that his friend's dad owns--and a great resturant on the corner-yea it would help if i knew the names of them! I'll have to ask him!

If you are really that hungry, White Castle is by Fort Hamilton and there used to be a really good pizza place by the funeral home on Ft. Hamilton, the name is on the tip of my tongue and I can't think of it. Ugh! I hate when that happens.

Endless~Where on Ft. Hamilton? My elementary school was on Ft. Hamilton and I used to Student Teach there also.
